Busou Shinki
Posted: Wed Apr 27, 2016 6:29 pmBefore dolls captured my heart there was and still is this large part of my heart that goes into Busou Shinki. Even though this figure line was abandoned years back by Konami they still make great friends in the 1:12 figure size, which in irl terms is 1:1 scale of what a Busou Shinki is intended to be.
Building them with their kits or mix and matching other kits can be fun. Same with repainting the tiny faces,heads and body/armors. And lucky enough picco neemo came along with clothing that somewhat fits decently or perfectly in some cases.
Here is one of my happy minion friends Strarf BiS. I am still working on modifying her looks, I have shaved off her ponytail plug ins on the side and recolored her hair from light blue to black.
One of my favorite things I know about Strarf I didn't know when Busou Shinki was first made is she and Yuki Nagato share the same lovely voice actress: Minori Chihara. Which made me love Strarf all the more, it's like a magical moment when one of your favorite VA's end up playing another character you love!
As you can see they have a connection already!

And then there is this old picture of Fubuki Ninja type shinki. I had to sell her last time things got tight. But Meer Campbell likes to remember her too!
