You did WHAT? WHERE?? HOW??? Share the knowledge or explain once again why we use chalk pastels and not oils.

Next time you see him, he'll be wearing pants.

Sculpting slows down until Alan's body arrives, I'm pondering doing Julian Lennon too when I get working again.

Next pair to follow, Alan and Julian http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... ulian.html Looks like they'll be the last of the "Class of 2011" until I get moved and settled.

Julian needs a bit of work on his Jagger lips.

And ALan is coming along wonderfully.

I am loving Apoxie Sculpt because noses will be hard and set before I put ears on so there's no risk of accidental squishing.

Alan and Julian ready to paint, they just need a bit of surfacing and filling here and there but that's what modeling paste and gloss sealers are for. Yup, a good base coat of thick gloss sealer evens out the wrinkles and fills in the pits in the faces but I don't use it on the hair.

Yes, I know I need to fix Julian's left eye and nostril but otherwise this is the guy who's favorite number is naughty and posts on Facebook just to see what kind of trolls he'll get.

Alan needs a bit more work, warmer hair and a few touch ups, but going quite well. I need to look and see if his eyebrows should be thicker.

Your faces are getting better and better!
Now I have that song running through my head -and a deep need to watch QI.
Susan
Update - and indeed I did just spend an hour and a half doing just that. I love QI :D

Does this, will this, enhance my life or the lives of others?

Is QI the new Sherlock Homes show? Mine are (Not So) Young Sherlock Holmes and Watson, can't help having a Nicholas Rowe thing. He's got me watching stuff like Shakelton and HG Wells I might not have.
