Chipping?

Postby Dark Angel » Sun Jun 20, 2010 3:45 pm

I re-painted my SOOMG Glati's hooves and horns today because they were chipping. The hooves I can understand because they touch each other while posing and stuff, but the horns shouldn't chip! I'm using MSC, so what's wrong?

DId you spray the MSC when it was particularly cold or humid out? Sometimes that can cause premature chipping.

I found that there is a way around that cool and humid of spray sealers. Take them outside for the spraying and let set just long enough for the smell to go away. Bring them inside and put in a box with about half a dozen of those silicone packets. With the lid closed tightly they pull the moisture out of the air as the sealant finishes drying.
The pen is mightier than the sword.... Unless this is a sword fight.
