Personally, I have to disagree with Chroma that the world's changed for the worse since the time of Arthur. But then, she is the villain, and not exactly speaking from the most objective standpoint.
It doesn't help that my most recent exposure to Arthurian legend has been via Fate/Stay Night, which downplays, if not outright subverts, the idea of Camelot being a Golden Age.
