apparently, though the hair on top of his head is thin, there must be enough in his ears to make the dwarf deaf to words of common sense.

reminds me of a similar character in my current DnD group - only that one is an elven thief. Can I presume that Sapphire is referring to Chroma and this is a current event, not something in the past?
