Some of you have noticed Episode 285 was little out of sequence, about 5 weeks out of sequence. As Greyhaunt mentioned there were "technical difficulties". To be precise, the featured props were late in arriving.
About 6 weeks before 285 was scheduled to post, I was looking at the script and decided the white Windsor chairs the girls use in their dining room were too distinctive to use in the restaurant. Something a bit more generic was needed. I found an unfinished (and unassembled) set on ebay for a reasonable price. The Buy it Now auction said 5 sets were available. Great! 6 weeks is plenty of time to ship, assemble, and finish the set. But what the auction should have said was the seller was willing to make up to 5 sets and would start building each set after it was paid for. The set wasn't sitting around waiting to ship. It wasn't even built yet. So after much hand wringing and gnashing of teeth, I decided to plow ahead with the next episodes. Conveniently the next two episodes took us to visit Naru and her twisted world. The Naru episodes were supposed to be a short break from the introduction of Penelope and the restaurant scene. Conveniently the set arrived in time to be ready after the Naru episodes. So next week it's back to Hyacinth, Kaji, and Penelope, I hope.
