Wednesday and Loki would make wonderful surrogate guardians for young Sera. Just think of all the wonderful things she could learn!

@davidd: I don't think Loki would much want to be a guardian for a young mortal... lol

"My dear heart's swain, I hope that this is not too forward, I know that the delicate nature of hand holding is an intimacy best saved for later but..."
"Nonsense, it's just holding a hand."
(Ophelia is a bit of a dramatic romantic. Well, more than a bit. And yes, she's still swooning over Gaston.)

Image
"You are a delicious little thing, aren't you?"
"We all have some appeal, brute, and you know what yours is."
(Monday, on the other hand, is not so much of a romantic. And is playing Gaston. Not that he cares.)

Image
"I know your plan. I would admire it, if it were not assine."
"You say that, but I see the fear for what you consider yours, dear cousin."
"Fear is not an emotion I possess."
(Wednesday is the ... who knows, of this trio. Definitely the most likely to confront and start stuff though.)

"... fear for what you consider yours."

Is Monday implying that, just for spite, she might also make a play for Loki?

She's done it once before, but... yeah, yeah she is. Because it amuses her to play with her cousins' playthings.

"I'm not sure if this is the wisest course of action, Miu..."
"Sera, you've been beating yourself up over this since you found out. If you don't say something, you'll only feel worse."
"Perhaps... I do like discomfort but this is too much."
"Exactly. Go on, I'll be right here waiting."
"Right. Of course."

Image
"Cousin Monday?"
"Yes?"
"I ... saw you."
"...Saw me?"
"With my sister's beloved."
"Indeed."
"I don't think it's fair, what you're doing to my dearest sister, nor to her beloved. I think that you should stop."
"And why should I listen to what my young cousin has to say?"

Image
"Because if you do not, things will be far worse for you."
"Is this another idle threat, Wednesday?"
"A promise."

You know, Cousin Monday is strangely appealing with her total disdain for everyone: friends, relatives, or... playthings.
Of course, being irresistibly pretty is a powerful tool in her arsenal. Sadly, "pretty" can get away with "pretty" much anything.

(Even more sadly; or, to be precise, pathetically, "pretty" is likely to cost me, personally, the next time I have a sufficient chunk of change in my PayPal account... or available on a credit card.)

*ahem* "Monday's child is fair of face..."
But seriously, I've found that when you find the right Momoko for your collection, it's largely because you find them personally appealing or, well, 'pretty'. (Azone dolls can also do this, but at least Mandarake often has good deals for them... At least in comparison with some prices ><)

Funny you should ask...

"Sister? Cousin? Why must you drag me out here?"
"Ophelia, you need to listen to us. Your beau... Cousin Monday..."
"Yes..?"
"They are consorting behind your back."
"...I would thank you, dearest Cousin, not to speak such lies."
"They're not lies, Ophelia!"
"Sera, how could you believe such things of my heart's swain? These are obviously falsehoods concocted by her God of Lies."

Image
"I prefer Mischief, actually, and while I'm not unfond of causing drama within in my own family, this is all rather... desperately mortal for me."
"Then..."
"My Loyal One does not lie."

Image
"You made my cousin cry."
"I do not exist to coddle someone who refuses to acknowledge the truth. Even if I did, it would be... pointless. And unnecessary. You had opted to tell her yourself."
"...True."

Image
"Fear not, Loyal One, your cousin will recover."
"I do not fear for her, I ponder what to do to Monday."
"I shall await the coming of your revenge. I trust it will be painful."
"Of course."

Painful for Monday, and painfully funny for those of us who follow this saga, I'm sure!

Apparently some princesses can be very taken with pirates...

That's pretty much been a thing since the days of Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn.
