I think she named him for Spike Spiegel from "Cowboy Beebop." That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh... this was SO FUNNY!
"'Probably' is not a viable survival tactic" is one of the most hilarious lines I've heard in ages (and I just finished watching an Abbott & Costello movie on TV and it didn't come close to this in laffs per minute)!
Riri makes an adorable color-shifted Anna-Marie! Impressive tailoring on that sailor-style school uniform!
And it was fun to see Mom Embryquinn Ghostcat making a cameo appearance... or, this being Trick or Treat season, was that somebody playing a trick on us? Well, it was fun nevertheless!
(Having "Mom's" dialog balloon tails always leading out of the panels is a very effective narrative technique, by the way!)
((And the last time I heard "I laughed so hard I fell off my dinosaur" I think I fell off my dinosaur laughing! Talkin' 'bout my generation!))
