I call it a vest suit

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

I call it a vest suit

I'm much more into sewing for girls than boys.
But some silk faille in goldenrod and navy inspired me!

The shirt and tie are made from silk tie fabric originally from a fancy tie manufacturer's grab bag of scraps. Probably 20 years old?
The grey wool is recycled from a vintage jumper I found in a thrift store. Even older.

I call it a nice suit.
Love the way the shirt+tie combo looks on him in the first shot.

He looks so classy! And awesome combo of fabrics, I'd never thought to match that goldenrod silk with the striped one you used for the tie.

So dapper! I love the colors, and tying a tie that small has to be hard.

Thanks, you two! The striped tie is quite long, so I was able to easily tie a Windsor knot - and there is still extra tie tucked into his shirt! I think I must have been thinking of a taller doll when I made that tie.
I'll tell you a secret. That's the only tie I have at the moment. I'm too lazy to make more!
