My try at the Art Nouveau Gown!

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

My try at the Art Nouveau Gown!

Postby MitisFeles » Sat Oct 10, 2015 7:47 am

Hi all!

This summer, after reading an awesome tutorial by our fellow Victoria Victrix, I scored some tank tops made of crystal pleated fabric, one silvery gray, one sky blue and one lilac, but never felt enough inspiration to use them until yesterday. Dahlia felt neglected and so I made this dress for her.
Well, she felt neglected, but I have to say she's still the girl with the more clothing in my house ^^'

A lovely gown - that has to be one of my favorite tutorials as well! Very simple and a fantastic end result :)

Link to the tutorial? Is it on this site?

That is a stunning gown and reminds me of one that my Barbies had when I was a kid.

The tutorial is over on Den of Angels. I'll see about posting it over here, it's pretty easy and you can make it work for all sizes of doll.

*EDIT:

Just remade the whole post over here.

Thank you VV!

I do not have a DoA membership, as none of my dolls are on topic, that I am aware of. They are all 1/6.

And that was my thought exactly - that it will work for any size doll (as your pictures clearly show). Excellent!

Thanks again,
Eseme
