Dollieh Sanctuary

This is without a doubt the most elaborate outfit I've ever made. It's for a challenge with my local doll club involving trim. The required elements were the dark pink ribbon in the ruffle along the bottom, the wide lighter pink ribbon with the white dots, and the white ribbon with the multicolored dots down the front of the skirt. Lots of firsts here, first time I've lined a piece of clothing, first time making a hat, first successful hand-sewn buttonholes, first time using lace or burning the ends of ribbon to keep them from fraying, first time doing ruffles like this. I made everything but the boots and the stuffed rabbit.

Now if only my photography skills were as good as my sewing.
