kenaiqueen's sewing skillz

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

kenaiqueen's sewing skillz

Starting this to post some pics of doll outfits I've sewn. I have a lot I've just adjusted or embellished that I won't put here. Just things I've made completely from patterns and a very few that I had to make/fudge patterns for. I admit, I do better with a pattern. Some are hand sewn and some are machine or a combo of both. I love hand sewing but sometimes, I need the machine speed or ability to finish edges quicker. Here we go!
This one makes me most proud. I think I did a good job on it and it looks like the inspiration. This is my American Model as Belle from Once Upon A Time tv series.

Also, an AM in a Gracefarie pattern, Jo, looking for her man Shaft LOL!

Next some of my Wilde Girls. They used to be displayed in my front room so I dressed them up for holidays a lot.

Christmas elf outfit. All fudged from adapted patterns or just made up on the spot.

I recognize that pattern for Kaye Wiggs. Also, I was curious - can your Smart Doll gals wear any of the American Model outfits?

I checked on the measurements and it looks like a yes, but I tried one on a Smartie and it was too tight in the chest. I would guess that something with some stretch would work. I'll try to experiment more over the weekend.

I'm not sure why I thought she needed a Regency outfit, but here it is.
