Patsys in their new Winter outfits

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Patsys in their new Winter outfits

Postby kenaiqueen » Wed Jan 29, 2014 7:38 pm

Finally finished some winter outfits for my Patsys. Both got new turtlenecks, jumpers (US for sleeveless dresses), sweaters (US for jumpers) and a crocheted scarf. All hand, no machine sewing. Jersey for the turtlenecks, quilting cottons for the dresses, one sweater made from socks and one from a used knit baby onesie. The scarves were made from DMC pearl cottons. I swear I tried 5 or 6 different strings, thread and yarns before I finally found the pearl cotton would work best for their scale. (Patterns adapted from free patterns found on the Martha Boers/Antique Lilac website.)

Wow, they look very lovely in their clothing. Those must have taken quite a bit of time and patience.
