A poodle skirt for Kiriane

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

A poodle skirt for Kiriane

Postby MitisFeles » Sun Mar 30, 2014 2:47 am

A dear friend gifted me a Takara Tomy Jenny sized poodle skirt, a year or more ago. Well, it really has fawns and not poodles, but that's the style! It was perfect for my little Obitsu Gretel, Kiriane, but I hadn't a top to match with it, and the lil' pretty skirt sitted unused until I took some time to sew myself a matching top.
She seems really happy for the change of clothing: my 1/6 dolls were really neglected this year, beetween my moving and having focused my sewing attentions on my bigger dolls.

Poor Cesar really needs some other clothing, he still has the fullset clothing I bought him with! But at least I took him out for some shoots ^_^'

I couldn't tell it wasn't a dress by looking at the your picture. A wonderful job well done!

Awww! So much cuteness! The skirt is to die for - Miyuki is going to be mighty jealous when she arrives. xD Also, I thought it was a dress. Wonderful sewing job! ♥ (And her kitty is adorable, too!)

I thought it was a dress until it was pointed out that it was a top and skirt, you did a wonderful job. It looks like it was inspired by Lolita fashion. Her wig goes really well too.
