Oh, can I live vicariously though you, Misty? Please post photos!! :D

I'd love to get Rabi, but it's not in the cards these days.

[quote="Dark Angel"]Not at all doll related but still... I bought him! XD[quote]

Hey, we got one of those too, altho a different sculpt...and we didn't pay for her. This is Bindi who will (hopefully) one day be my hearing service dog. Mom is a red heeler and dad is a german shep/Doberman mix.

In other news, I decided to get a Momoko to keep my Kuhrn girl company. She's got long blond hair that I might need to get re-rooted in favor of something darker.

Wonderful, Kenaiqueen! Have you had a service dog before? My daughter is looking into it again (after our family pet unfortunately scrubbed out). Bindi looks so cute (and sleepy) - sounds like she's going to be a big girl, too! :D

I have not had an official one, but our last pet, a Golden mix, was really good about alerting me to anyone at the door which is the primary need. I'm hoping she'll learn how to do this. Looking into puppy class to start with. Hoping she doesn't get too big...Buddy was over 100 lbs.!

To keep this on topic, I will on vacation in Seattle at the end of the month. Does anyone know if there are any good doll or toy stores in that area?

Having raised a service dog obedience classes is the place to start, good doggie manners is everything. Ours ended up being for a soldier's PTSD so I don't know exactly how hearing dogs are trained.

Of all the pets it's one of the cats who alerts when the appliances ding.

I was getting doll withdrawal so I got this.

She doesn't look much like Carrie, but I suppose that's so they won't have to pay for licensing beyond that of Disney. She's a Hasbro and looks to be around Barbie sized. I got this as she has an additional outfit to wear. The 2 other versions had clothing that was molded as part of the body.
In my head, she is Carrie and she is saying "I know."
