Story (For those interested)
Quinn knows nothing of his father, except that apparently he was Native American and he left when his mother was 4 months pregnant. It was just the two of them for his first 5 years, and it was during this time that he became friends with the guy who ran the music store in town, who gave Quinn his first guitar and taught him how to play a bit. Quinn began to practice in every spare moment he could find, just completely taken with making music. He appeared to be a natural talent as well.
A few years later, his mom started dating the man who would become Zane's father and his own step-father, and they moved from his hometown. The man barely seemed to take notice of either boy when he wasn't abusing Quinn, and to prevent any harm coming to Zane he kept his baby brother in his room most of the time. He immediately felt a bond with the baby and was very protective of him, and would play songs for him and talk to him.
About the time Zane turned 1 year old, there was an incident involving Quinn, his mom and “that guy” which resulted in Quinn getting his arm broken and his mother packing up what the car would hold, and leaving with the boys. They found a new home in another state, and Quinn continued to help raise Zane as much as he was able - taking over fully when his mother was killed. He was 14 at the time.
In more recent years, he went to college part-time. This is when he formed his his band, Joker's Day, meeting both Spencer and Lily in school. They're the resident House Band for a rock nightclub, Club S.I.N., playing there every Saturday night, except for when they're on tour, which is currently rare. Though they're currently in talks for a recording contract....
This year, 2011, has been one of great changes for him. At the very end of last year, he met a small Finnish man by the name of Hansel Valo, who turned his world upside down. The two are now living together, with Zane and Hansel's brother Erik, and engaged to be married on July 31, 2011. Having never even been interested in dating anyone before, this was quite the whirlwind for him... but he knows Hansel is The One, and he couldn't be happier.

Spencer grew up living a life of secrets. To appease his father, he learned to put up a wall at an early age. Being a bright, beautiful and happy child did NOT set well with his father, who wanted a son like himself - not this thin little boy with a penchant for dressing up because he liked to look nice, and who would rather draw than play football. To say his childhood was rough would be a great understatement.
Spencer has always had an addictive personality and became hooked on some very self-destructive vices by the age of 12. His first stint in rehab came when he was 16. It all stemmed from an incident of his father finding out he was still doing drama and art in school..... He left home at the age of 19. Of course, by this time Spencer was who he was, having put up walls, hidden behind masks, and been an all-around ass to everyone for so long it was simply second nature now. No one would stay anyway, so why bother letting them in? Also, he slowly began returning to his old habits.
At the age of 22 he met Quinn and Lily, who were forming a band and needed a drummer. They hit it off in a weird way and Jokers Day was formed. On a personal level, Spencer did his best to push Quinn away, but try as he might Quinn saw through him and refused to be moved. And thus a deep and abiding attachment between the two was formed as well.
A horrible womanizer, Spencer's had one girlfriend. It did not end well, and this brought on his second stint in rehab, which Quinn took him to amid many protests. His third and so far last tour of rehab was in the spring of 2010. Again, it was Quinn who found him, this time passed out on the kitchen floor. Since then, he's been drug free and only returned to drinking slowly and in moderation. He had some dark periods early in the year, but things took a huge upturn when he met Loki Fable.
He and Loki got off to a weird start, insulting each other and even going so far as to physically beat on each other. This, however, quickly grew into something very deep and real when they realized they understood each other like no one else ever had.
As of 2:30AM on April 18, Spencer and Loki are married. They were on the sidewalk outside the nightclub where Spencer's band plays and decided they didn't need/want no stinkin' ceremony... they just... ARE. Because they have rings and said they were. They have a strange and interesting relationship, very heavy on the S&M and D/s side. Loki IS Spencer's possession, his Pet, and the most important thing in his life.
After struggling with his true nature all his life, Spencer has finally come out of the closet, admitting that he is, in fact, gay. So far, he's only told Loki.
