Knitwear for 1/6 scale

Postby Samseramsamsam » Fri Aug 08, 2014 4:03 am

Weeeelll the good thing it, the Obitsu dolls and Monster High dolls are not too different in in circumference etc.
This dress is more of a prototype, and I learned from it a) not to double the stitches for the hem (so. many. stitches.so. poofy. :? ) and b) either to forego puffed sleeves completely or start the puff higher ;)

Today's model is a lovely Obitsu 23 cm SBH with a nano Haruka head (plus fur wig and eery green eyes).

Great job! I can see where you'd want to make all the changes you want, and there was a time during the Romantic era of the 19th century when the poof slid down the arm a bit. Make the skirt down to her ankles and she's there.

Lovely work, the color really suits her. I adore her wig, the colors in it work so well together.

Thanks :) Eseme, I bought the wig from a Polish seller on ebay, if you would like, I can send you the link?

With this one, I am more satisfied:

Therefore, I put the pattern up in my blog :)

... I have to remember to take more pictures, but that would mean less time for knitting ;)

Made a dress for Amaya from coloured crochet thread :) (on 1.5 mm double pointed needles, because I am apparently masochistic)

Love the color and your knitting skill. I have crocheted that small but have not knit that small.

Ooh, nice! I make an attempt once in a while but I've never quite figured it out. (Those 1.5mm needles are not for the faint of heart!)
