Gift_in_Edge: Thanks! I'm pretty darn pleased with them <3

So this is not an update on the projects I already posted, but a MNF Breakaway sleeping face may or may not have fallen into my lap (as in my girlfriend got him on the Den Market, and it wasn't the right color so she kinda went 'here' and...)

I opened both eyes. FYI, opening an eye where there is no pre-existing eyewell is a PAIN. And I would say I'm never doing that again, but I'd be totally lying, because the end result was totally worth it. I like working from nothing. It's like having a blank slate.
Image
I also made it so the little guy will never be able to be used with a MNF neck connector again... >_> I kinda made one and said eff it, and epoxied it into the head permanently. And he (or it might be a she, I'm not sure) jacked Vorel's body, which is a ResinSoul Li body.

And for the sake of it, I finished my RS Fei's mods, and you can see the cheekbones now.

Also, Vincente's body arrived, and I finished the epoxy wads in his head, so now it's time to prime him!

She seems to think we may not have that many failed castings, if I do it the way she teaches me, so I'm hopeful. If it fails, it fails, and we will try again. :)

I also want to thank all the people for the positive feedback. I was really really nervous about posting this boy. His body will be picked up from UPS tomorrow, so I am excite. {...}

Working with an already experienced caster will definitely keep failed casts to a minimum! ^.^

I'm also glad you overcame your nervousness and posted about him and his progress. It's really interesting and useful to me to see other people's creative processes at work.

She's learned how to set things up, to lower the chances of things like air bubbles and warped molds. So she's going to walk me through the process.

One more update for my Fei, I started her face-up. I've also built the base for the knee peanuts, but I haven't gotten any pictures of that yet.

Long time no see! I have updates~! <3

I finished Keilah's face-up. I'm really really super pleased with how it came out. So sparkly o3o

And Vincente has been sprayed with primer. I need to sand a few spots just a tiny bit around his eyes, and his upper lip, then he'll be ready to make a mold with.

Also, for the sake of it, a look at what I did to the MNF Breakaway.

I love how Keilah's turned out - the faceup is wonderful!

Giant Torso Mod! I still haven't gotten back to working on Keilah, but I did finish Zephyr's mods. He can arch so nicely now.
