Oatmeal the Blunder Horse

From the Annie's Attic Fashion Doll Dream Horse pattern. About the size of a Breyer. Pipe cleaners in the legs. Some day I might make another. The yarn looked mottled not stripy but what's made is made.

Thank you, it's all done with a single crochet stitch and shaping with increases or decreases. The yarn does the stripes. The legs are made separate from the body then sewn on.

I'd have to figure out how to do the horn, Oatmeal is from a pamphlet.

Would crocheting a long, thinnish triangle in single and sewing it into a cone shape work?

Use a seashell for the horn. The various auger shells are perfect. I used to use them as the horns on the stuffed unicorns I made. You should be able to stick it within the stitches from the inside.

Thanks for the ideas for horns.

Oatmeal isn't destined for a horn, it's as finished as it's going to be, but there might be a unicorn in the future.
