Kitsune figurine sculpt

Postby NikitaRose » Thu May 08, 2014 4:18 pm

I used to make a lot of clay figurines when I was younger. I hadn't made one in several years, so I up and decided one day to give it a try again.
This is my baby, Oliver.

He took way longer to finish than he should have, but I kept dropping the project and then picking it back up weeks later. Super fun sculpt though. I guess he's technically 1/6 scale, maybe a bit smaller? His hair was by-far the hardest part. The wig I bought was too big, and it looked like a mushroom cap when I put it on the first time. Twas interesting styling a bitty tiny little wig and cutting ear holes and making it look right.

Wow! Amazing work. You have a true talent.

JHe looks very life like, and the details in his clothing are lovely. I like his tails, so expressive!
