Not posting when you post

I've lost quite a few posts recently because after I hit "submit" it just takes me back to the blank post thing. (you know, the thing I'm typing in right now) Is that a forum problem? Or is it just me?

I think that might have happened to me last night. I know I responded to the Nutella comment... but then today my post wasn't there.

It's a forum problem, unfortunately. I blame everything on our internet service provider because, well, it usually is their fault.

My personal philosophy has been "wait ten minutes and it will get better". Usually that works :)

It just sucks when you write a novel, and then it's gone. Lol. So now I copy all my replies.

I've had it happen, and if I go back one page it's usually still there.

I don't have much luck with the "still there" thing either :( Every now and again, but rarely.

It really is highly annoying when that happens :(

I used to lose posts when the board would time out while I was writing and I'd have to log back in. The "Back Page" trick has always worked for me (Firefox), but if I know I'm going to compose an opus, I'll do it in MSWord and "copy and paste" it into the post. That way I know there's always a copy and I'll get to use the spell and grammar checker cuz I is not a gud speler.
