I'm a member of another forum that uses phpbb and on that forum it's impossible to put any other images in your sig than the JPEG/JPG-type. I want to use a PNG or a GIF sig to make use of transparency, but I can't. Here on the DS, I can. They say they don't know what the problem is and they say you must be using some kind of mod on the DS... is that true..? I've googled and can't find anything.

I just checked and there are no file type requirements in the board signature settings. The only mod I have in the forum is the one that auto-resizes images, and that wouldn't affect the signature area since that has a set image size.

Double check your PNG file against the board's maximums (height, width, file size in KB, etc.).
