Hello from BC, Canada!

Postby Alchemist's Fire » Thu May 15, 2014 6:51 pm

Hello DS! I'm Alchemist's Fire, but you can call me Alchy

I hail from the west coast of Canada, I joined the BJD hobby in June of last year (2013) when my best friend got her Iplehouse JID Tania. I fell madly in love with her Tania, and decided I wanted to start looking into getting a doll of my own.

Pretty soon I found my way onto the Den of Angels forums, and started doing my research. By the end of last year, I'd acquired three MSD-sized dolls.

My collection (so far) consists of:
a Fairyland Minifee Seorin on the Active Line Muscle body in normal skin (awake and sleeping head, with company face-up) named Dylan
a Resinsoul Song on the single-jointed male body in normal skin, named Grey
a Resinsoul Mei on the double-jointed, mature-bust female body (aka the "Rong" body) in normal skin, named Maple

I absolutely ADORE Resinsoul MSDs, and hope to add more to my collection soon <3

Aside from BJDs, I enjoy making chainmaille jewellery, which I sell under the name Crooked Creations on Etsy and Storenvy.
I also collect 3.75" Star Wars figurines, and have a very small collection Transformers (three Beast Wars figures, a few Bot Shots, and hopefully some WSTs soon). I also collect LEGO Minifigures, I just love the thrill of the hunt with the blind packs they do!

Thanks for having me here, I look forward to making some new friends!

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

fairydustdreams
Thank you so much!
Can I introduce them here, or would it be better to create a thread in the 1/4 Scale forum?

Thanks!
I am hoping to share my LEGO, although photographing it is going to be interesting xDDD
I've got most of my blind pack minifigs on a rack that my boyfriend built, but they're all pretty jammed together and falling over and losing accessories - kind of a mess xD
Plus I've got some loose ones, and others (like my bats from Series 8) are hanging off my haunted castle set xD

Create a thread in the 1/4 Scale forum or create a thread for all your various dolls and critters in the Dollieh Sanctuaries forum.

Okay!!

Oh, I had a question - in the 1/4 Scale forum, would it be okay to post a company discussion thread? Like, one thread where owners of dolls of a certain company could gather to chat?
