Cleaning Dolliehs...WITHOUT Magic Erasers!

Postby kurosu.chan » Thu Aug 18, 2011 1:24 pm

Sometimes, it's really hard to find Magic Erasers. But there are wonderful things that you can use instead!! Lets make this a thread for tips on cleaning dolliehs; What do you use when you don't have an Eraser?

I use Bon Ami. It's a houshold cleaner that is non-toxic, doesn't stain, and it actually polished my dollieh! Seriously great stuff.

Bon Ami? I'll have to see if I can find some. Rio has 'cheetos' face right now. XD

You can use some ache creams. They help to kind of bleach stains.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Warning on the acne creams... Kiki-chan78 used that, 6 months later Omi started to turn highlighter yellow in the places where she used it. I imagine Omi was not happy.

Baking Soda and water will work as well.

Would Baking Soda + Water get rid of dried glue? I love Pullips but I hate the dried glue that gets left behind when you remove their wigs. Or would I have to use some sort of alcohol to remove it?
