Hi. How do you know if the doll is strung too tightly? What happens?

Unless it's very extreme, though, it's preference of the person.

My AE Yara Jr. does this all the time and I keep on restringing her, but I cannot seem to get it any more loose. Are there any tricks?

I think hot glue sueding helps with kicking. Even if the doll is strung very tightly, the friction from the sueding creates traction that keeps the joints from snapping into curled positions. At least it seems to help with the one doll I've done it with so far... I restrung her very tight again, but with the sueding she isn't curling up anymore like she was before.
