curling eyelashes

Postby hlbmlp » Tue Apr 10, 2012 9:36 pm

i have just finished a ceramic doll and i guess the eyelashes i used sat a little too long in their bag and are almost flat. they wont curl up like they are supposed to, only go down into they eye.... which is obnoxious if nothing else.
so is there any way to recurl them while in my doll's head? it was a pain to get them in, and i dont really wanna travel that road again!

thanks!

If the doll can handle a little light steam put them over a kettle and wait a few secs for the lashes to soften. You should be able to bend them up a bit. If not I don't know what to tell you. Usually I use a lash curler before I put them on the doll...
