I love the idea behind this, and it makes me sad the idea seems to have stalled, probably because nobody has found the page . . . I wish I'd been searching around a year ago like I am now. I'd have donated in a heartbeat and shared the crap out of that page.

I know we now have Curvy Barbie and Lammily, but they're technically just average. It would be amazing to see an actual plus size fashion doll, one with rolls and not just "curves". I kind of wish I could win the lottery, I'd invest in this in a heartbeat. Maybe I should buy a ticket on my way home from work tomorrow . . .

It's not getting funded because GoFundMe is not the place to get money for projects, it's a place to ask for money when someone is in need.

If this person actually wanted to do this, s/he should have done a Kickstarter.

I'm trying not to be really snarky right now. Don't get me started on the ridiculous things that get funded through GoFundMe while others with real needs languish in obscurity. And yes, I do say that with personal experience.

TL/DR; listing a GoFundMe and making the campaign successful is an actual job. The people that do well with personal campaigns treat it as such.
