I almost forgot, I used to keep my spare heads in a shot glass display shelf.

... Ooo, that would work really well, and I have some freed up wall space now due to furniture rearranging... And I think I had one of those once, or at least a knickknack shadowbox shelf with a lot of little square cubbie-holes. Probably in the back room somewhere. *adds to list of things to look for*
