LOL.

The arguments I've seen online as to why dolls from some companies are not "real bjds" just struck me as silly, given that they all are made of the same substance & have the same type of structure. "Esthetics" are subjective, a matter of personal interpretation and taste. (Some people prefer vanilla to chocolate. Doesn't mean I must give up chocolate just to please them, though.)
Hobbies are supposed to be FUN. Throwing a bunch of arbitrary rules on it and demanding that others follow them is divisive, and kills the fun. ( One reason why I no longer show model horses.)
This board's attitude of "Hey! Let's just have fun with our dolliehs!" is what makes it such an appealing place.

And yeah, I don't have a lot of sense, either. Otherwise I wouldn't be here.

Wow -- finally, a place where no doll is "Off Topic"!! I'm new here, just learning my way around, but so glad to know that I can discuss any member of my dollieh collection regardless of material, manufacture, origin, or what have you!! Now this is fun...
Bear with me while I think of something profound to put here...

Except for those.. oh wait. We do really mean every doll! :P
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Well.....almost. I did have to officially ban sex dolls - but I'm pretty sure no one is going to object about that! :?

I obj--! Wait. No, I don't.

I had to explain to a complete asstard the other day that BJDs aren't sex dolls.
