knit purse help/opinion

Postby E-Beth » Wed Aug 22, 2012 11:07 pm

I randomly started knitting the other day with no plan as I am known to do, and finished up with this

A purse! for my SD sized doll.

I am not happy with the simple crochet strap I made so I didn't attach it.
And I fished around in my jewelry box and didn't find anything inspiring. I was thinking of a metal chain: too fancy, and I considered a string of small amber beads that looked too dressy.

What kind of strap/handle would you put on this purse?

I think you should do that, and make two more straps and braid them into one bigger strap.

you could always get some brass wire and wind it around itself to make two handles

I think it would look good with the crocheted strap, or maybe a ribbon.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@
