figured i would ask among you guys before i bug the manufacturer... does anyone know if Resinsoul traditionally accepts layaway payments? thanks :D

They do, but you'll have to contact Sun directly in order for it to happen, I believe.

They do take layaway, and there's no actual limit to how long they'll let you extend it, but typically customers pay within 3 months. As was already said, you need to email Sun, and they'll tell you how to make payments. :)

EDIT: and omg I just looked at the time stamps. I am two days late here. -facepalm- I have been so busy, I'm not used to being unable to read everything that happens on the board every day.
