Thin/not-baby-proportioned tiny BJD?

Postby hyssop » Sun Apr 12, 2015 9:57 am

So I've fallen in love with Doll Chateau Ada, who is sadly no longer being made, and I got a brain bug about being able to make a dollhouse for such a tiny one (with her human lower body)! I have hopes that DC will rerelease her again so I can snatch her up, or that I can find a pre-loved Ada, but in the meantime I'm wondering if anyone knows of a similarly tiny fellow or lady that is similarly proportioned? Bonus points for a fantasy-esque sculpt! I've checked around but it seems like most tinies are like chubby little babies. Help?

These three spring to mind - I have the first two.

Dolkot Peya - thinner than Ada, and very human sculpt. Huge feet and rather gangly. Slightly smaller than Ada at 16cm
Lillycat Colline - now discontinued, sadly. Again human, but a lot more stylised. 17cm
And Seed Dolls Starling at 18cm - with or without elf ears!
Remember, the reverse of stressed is desserts.
Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Dollzone has some girls at 19.5cm tall. They actually just released two new ones with ballet slipper feet.
So cute. XD

I was thinking DollZOne's girls, too.

And after quick googling, I found Google doc (done by members of DoA) that contains list of mature tinies. I don't know how updated it is, or does it tell discontinued dolls, but still, it's something. ^^

These are ones that I know of that are still in production - all are 16cm or less. The links are to various Flickr groups so you can see owner pictures.

No mention yet of Bluefairy Pocketfairies. You can choose a slender body for them instead of default baby body.

Dollmore Banji as well, they sometimes sell them heavily discounted.
