I finally bought one of these little things. It was just 30 bucks on Amazon. I'm still in shock these little guys are so inexpensive!! I got Nierembergia.

Update with pictures!

It's really cute! I still can't believe it was just 30 bucks. The clothes are fun and I think they're well made. The clothes do make the doll immobile, though. His shirt and jacket are stiff enough that I can't get his arms to move. It stands nicely (this is always good) and I think the face-up is adorable.

I decided to see if my little Ayla (Ai Nerine) would fit into the little Sophia The First's dress. Answer: not really. I was able to cram her into the dress, but the whole back is open. So I'll have to pass it on to someone. But we'll keep the lovely tea things.

So... technically, this little bundle of adorable is my first ever BJD. I'd been taken with them for a little bit, and found two that I really liked, and couldn't pick one over the other. So obviously I saved to get both. The first one arrived today, and she's adorable, and thanks in part to my Mum, she has the lovely name: Anne Beatrice.

According to her box, she's a Lawn Daisy. I just adore her look, and her hat is gorgeous - even if it does keep pulling out hairs from her wig. I've ordered a little couch for Anne and her soon-to-arrive sister, so they'll have somewhere safe to sit. But yes, adore these dolls. (Planning on saving for a j-doll next, but only after I've got present buying out of the way, I've got Easter and a few birthdays in quick succession)

Thanks! I really disliked her original yellow hair and got her a Monique Gold wig from Facets. It's called 'Coco'. I love the style so much I got one for one of my Patsy dolls too.

Did you strip him and take all the plastic wrap/tape off his body?

Cause, yeah... they don't pose too well until you do that.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@
