So, I am a hyuuuuge Star Trek fan. So when I found a then-unknown grey doll in our basement (Picked up at a yard sale years ago) I decided to turn her into a Cardassian. (Reference here http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Cardassian for those not in the know).
I also looked up what doll it was, going by a trademark imprinted on her back, and found she was a Sideshow Toys Artist Model. Did not, however, check to see if she was rare or not before slapping on the apoxie. Ooops. Still have no idea, to be honest. But I like the way she turned out!

Hah! Awesome mods! It's great to see a Cardassian (totally read that in Garak's voice).

As to the base dolls, I think they're relatively old bodies from the 'action figure' end of this hobby. If memory serves you can still buy both the male and female model from Sideshow... At least you could a couple of months ago *runs off to look* ah yep here they are:

(Hee - if you wanted to you could totally make a Garak)

Never would have thought of making Cardassians and I'm a Trekker.

Check art supply stores for these bodies, I got mine at Dick Blick.

You did an excellent job at sculpting! She is instantly recognizable as a Cardassian.

I like her outfit a lot as well.

Welcome to the boards and please share more!
