Teenage Obitsu heads getting sticky

Postby DollyKim » Fri May 27, 2022 6:00 pm

Since I found out my Obitsu 60 from 2006 is melting, totally on me and how I've treated him last year wasn't good for any of us, I decided to check the others I got around the same time.

The rooted 1/6 scale heads are getting a little bit sticky. Not wet but I could feel a little something on my finger. I don't really touch their heads much. The larger soft bust seemed to be okay. Hopefully they'll be fine, there have been old sticky Barbies forever. Might give them a talcum powder dusting later. The Volks from the same era I checked are okay.

Hopefully she's okay. I never touch their faces so I don't get them dirty and it never occurred to me it would even happen until I checked the big guy.

Also mine have been in some pretty intense heat recently so that could be a part of it.

Mine are good but they've lived sheltered, hot house doll lives.

Awww, yeah. Could have been the heat. I know it was heat that made this one and my big girl sweat on their limbs.
