Any "big guys" I'm missing?

Postby DollyKim » Fri Jan 21, 2011 7:58 am

Is there a brand other than Sideshow and Hot Toys that makes 1/6 scale guys who stand a bit taller than the others? I have a half desire to make another doll, IRL he's a 6'4" white guy and either of those two would work but I'd like to consider a new doll I could use for my site first.

FR dolls stand tall. Here is a link that might help you out.

Wow, that's helpful, reminds me I need to do my guys better. FR's tall enough but I'm spoiled articulation wise, my guy needs to be able to fence.

Make me think about Enterbay and a different Hot Toys.

Hasbro did a couple of taller bodies, but they're pretty scarce.
The big Sideshow body *is* actually very good-it's tall in scale, and as posable as a regular SSC body. Still something to consider if FR or DC Direct are too slim or too bulky.
(it's what my Tom Baker head is going on)

And yes, thanks for the link! Some really nice pics and tutorials.

Can he stand next to a ruler? Or some other guys?

So far I'm leaning towards a Sideshow, I'm looking for a caucasian Art S Buck if they still exist, or a Hot Toys. When I broke my guys down to sizes those two fell in the Extra Large category.

Sideshow is a good idea for Tom Baker, mine has to share a DML for now.

I found one solution, the Triad Omega is "extra large" but I'd still like to see pics of the other guy.
