Policeman with a cool dog. I like the stuff the fireman has, too.

I mentioned this in my earlier post here but I really hope those GI Joes come with the Super Articulated body. That's what all the Joes I post here have and it really my preferred male body style.

Decent dear on the fireman, but Power Team Elite is still kicking butt is the great stuff category. If Hasbro would just keep up with that they put out then they'd be worth a real look for me.

Chae-ri wants to sue Mattel over copyright infringement now, over this:

"Pink hair? Black shirt with a crossbone heart? Funky bracelets? Tanned skin? Violet eyes?! GRRRR!!!!"

Then I pointed out the leopard-print stretch pants, and she calmed down a bit.

(Besides, Tokidoki's eyes are blue. But sometimes Ri-ri gets on a roll.)

Mattel spies are everywhere. One was at a doll meet I took a better part of my hoard to, watched people fawn over their articulation, 100 Poses dolls come out. About as coincidental as Haute Doll's "review of 1/6 scale male dolls" after I started the Little Encyclopedia. But who's been reduced to a few pages at the back of Doll Reader now?

I only have one GI Joe (WW2 Japanese pilot morphed into a samurai) and I love him! I find I take him lots of places, even to work.
I want more Joes.

Silkies are lovely, but they're definitely for the crowd that loves to dress their dolls in gorgeous vintage or retro outfits and display them. They *are* very high quality dolls, I must say.(still prefer my playline girls) Silkstone Francie is adorable.

New Joes! About time, Hasbro. :)

Mona Lisa is pretty.(but they gave her eyebrows! :D) Glad there are more posable bodies popping up, but I hope the Swappin' Styles gimmick is gone soon.

The fail Mona Lisa is hysterical. I love how when they need a "generic" face their go to is the Mackie Mold. I will probably get that one because I luff the dress...

Bea (or big-head Lea) would have probably made a better "Mona."

Kayla (left) uses the big-head Lea mold. Fifi (Mystery Squad Kenzie, right) uses the regular Lea mold.

You're totally right Babs. Big head Lea really does seem like she would be a better mold for Mona. Odd that the ppl at Mattel didn't spot this.

Ah,,sorry. I know you're a guy. I did pause for a second over calling you Babs but wasn't sure what I should do. I know from now on.
