Jem and the holograms Aja

Sorry for the scan. I can't take a photo at the moment so I had to take a scan instead.

Found her at a thrift store today. I'm trying to figure out what version this is, I want to get her shoes and if any missing clothing. All the pictures I find of this outfit/doll she's missing something like her stockings or what not. Is this sequin belt part of her originally?



I'll get a better picture sometime when she's been cleaned. She's pretty dingy.

Welcome to the cult... I have 2 Darcis, Synergy with her clothes and a nude Jem rescued from a store. I'd say the belt is part of it because it matches so well. Looking at the paper doll version of the outfit, which I think is her first/regular outfit in the toon, the top and heels are pink so chances are the shoes are pink or that weird violet.

OMG Aja was my fave of the girls. I didn't get many dolls as a kid but I would have loved one of her. Nice find. Sorry I have no idea about her costume though.

You're welcome. There are lots of people doing customs. Go to the Jem Con site and check out the boards there.

I never had Jem as a child, and I think Obitsus and articulated Barbies are going to be easier for me to get and less expensive (though hopefully the collector bubble on Jem has popped a bit).

Finding a Jem at a con who uses the ladies' room is like finding an 8th Doctor who uses the mens'. ~rim shot~

The only downer with Jem and gang is their size, especially with the shoes. Obitsu already has the hair colors going for it anyway. If someone took the time to put a set together I bet they could sell them...
