Obitsu girl's first shoot

Postby Dark Angel » Wed Mar 16, 2011 10:58 pm

Hi ya'll! I've had my 27cm Obitsu for a while now, but life got in the way. And since today was so nice, (very windy though) I took her to the park. She still has no name... I can't find one that really fits. I like Ivory though... But I'm not sold on it. Any suggestions?

She was quite beside herself...

It has been a while!!! I remember seeing her when you first painted her head...or rather when i first joined the forum. I love her shirt and the photo of her balancing on the yellow...um is it a handrail? Where did you find the material for the shirt? IT's adorable...toy story and such. IS it a sock?

Her jeans are so cute!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Awesome photos and what a cutie pie~!

When I first saw her the name Sapphire came to mind.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

I love her.
Her jeans fit perfectly. Did you make them?
My favorite shot is also the one of her hanging by her heels.

Great photo shoot, although it made me feel bad that I don't do shoots like this anymore. Resu's 1/6 faceups have such a wonderful, somewhat understated look to them that you just can't help but love. I wish I could help with the name but I've been running out of ideas lately, myself. My usual fall-backs are the phone book, biblical names and those "baby names" websites.

It's actually a speaker thing at a playground. You're supposed to be able to talk in one, and hear it out the other... but it doesn't work. And the shirt is from a Toy Story barbie. :)

Zainin wrote:Very cute doll! I especially love the shoe balancing. She'll find herself a name soon, I'm sure. They'll pick them up on their own sometimes.

Landwhale- the shirt's from the Barbie Loves Alien doll, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you!!! I was so amazed to see that she could hang by her shoes! XD Who knew?

Lol, you better get a start on that, you've got a lot of obitsu's to train! ;)

Lol, not sure 'helping' is the right word.

Thanks! I think so too.

Sapphire huh? Hmm... *considers*

Nope, I think they are Barbie pants. I'm not too sure though because I them in a bag of mixed doll clothes.

Resu's faceups are great. But I think I want a little more color in her, just because her hair is so pale. Lol, I always look at baby name websites... and because of this hobby I bought 2 baby name books.
