My resin 'grail' doll is here! w/updated photo

Can't believe I finally went full resin, but here she is:

This is my new fair skin, human, Miki by Kaye Wiggs. I've wanted her forever (or since I first saw her at least LOL). I liked the elf versions, but I think the human one was my best choice for more versatility. She had to steal Patience's wig and an Ellowyne dress for now, but I have a long white wig ordered along with some shoes, boots and a wig cap. I'm trying to decide what kind of dress I'd like to make for her. White and lacy to be sure. I've named her River Song for now unless something better comes to mind.

Congrats! Kay Wiggs dolls are on my grail list, too! Once I have that kind of money laying around or my husband decided to surprise me - haha!

I'm amazed that she could fit into an Ellowyne dress though. A friend of mine has two KW girls are they are rather chunky little MSDs.

BTW, quite OT for this doll, but brodjam on Ebay has several Amelia Thimble outfits on auction this week. http://stores.ebay.com/brodjam?_rdc=1

That is such a cute sculpt! I've loved those dolls since I've gotten into the hobby. Congrats on her!

Thanks! Tax refund and a very sweet hubby who knows I've been working my butt off caring for him for the last couple months. (In the middle of a knee replacement that went bad!) However, I've promised no new dolls for the next 6 months too. The dress is very stretchy velvet and I couldn't get the separate sleeves on her at all. I need to start sewing!

Oh and thanks for the heads up...I bid on some outfits. No new dolls but he said nothing about clothes, shoes or wigs.

Congrats, she has a lovely face! Are these MSD sized? If the Ellowyne dress fits, you could also look into the Teen Trends dolls, most of their clothes are an okay fit for Ellowyne size, even a tad too wide, which works well for MSD then (or Obitsu 40 ;) )
