Queen Elsa Frozen Fever 'Intoxicated' 17" OOAK Doll
Posted: Sat Sep 03, 2016 7:04 pmJust redid my Frozen Fever Elsa 17″ Doll to be her sick, feverish, unwittingly inebriated self when she leans over the clock tower’s staircase railing, saying ‘What?! I’m fiiine~’ when she really wasn’t! :laughs:
I firmly believe this state was caused by the ‘medicine’ that Anna ‘bought’ from Oaken to give to Elsa was ‘patent’ medicine—sold profusely in that time and era—and which consisted of mainly alcohol. If you notice, she only acted ‘intoxicated’ later on in the day, towards sunset, and after she’d been taking the ‘medicine’, I’m sure.
Poor Elsa!
Anyway, my sis and I thought it’d be cute to make the FF 17″ Elsa this way since it’s how she acted during the climactic part of the short.
Plus, I thought it’d be neat to have my 4 Elsa 17″ dolls to all have different expressions:
Ice Queen - Tranquil/Right gazing
Frozen Fever - Inebriated/Eyes closed
Coronation - Queenly/Left gazing
Regal - Uncertain/Forward glancing
Hope you all like her kooky look! I was a bit uncertain to do this, but my sis convinced me it’d be fun and awesome to have 4 different expression Elsa dolls.
