Mama Coco 16" LE Doll

Postby SetsunaKou » Thu Apr 04, 2019 6:29 pm

Oh my gosh! We just finished a Mama Coco 16" LE style doll on commission and she came out sooooooooooooooooooo cute!!! My dad and mom also LOVE her so much!
I sculpted and painted her head while my sister made her outfit. She and our Dad also reconstructed her wicker chair so she'd fit in the Disney Store Limited Edition box.
She came out so much better than I hoped! The buyer wanted her to have a sweet smile and twinkle in her eye, from the scene with Miguel when she's remembering as he plays the song her father wrote for her. (I've actually never seen the movie but I read the sweet synopsis and the buyer also told me part of the story.)
I tried hard to recreate her expression from that scene and it looks really wonderful as a doll!! Her body is a 1/4 tan bjd body so she can sit well and I replaced her hands with old lady hands used for crafts.

What do you all think of her? I'm so excited about her! Is she like her?!
