ILY4Ever Doll

Here's my new little Disney Bounder doll in one of the outfits I got for her. This is obviously an Elsa inspired dress with boots, scarf and necklace. I wish they had given her a vest or jacket instead of the scarf or necklace. Even a purse would have been nice. But it's still cute.

Cute - and a scarf is easy to sew. I suspect Disney still doesn't understand that a large number of the adults who buy their doll are collectors and not giving them to children.

Decided my Minnie needed something new to wear so I put her in the other outfit I bought, an Ariel-inspired skirt and tee. It came with sunglasses, a purse and some shoes.

The DH said she looked like she was pouting about it, so I suggested that it was maybe because she was cold and I should get her a coat. I checked out the inexpensive line from Joann Fabrics and ordered her a lace dress, tights and socks set, winter boots and a white fake fur coat. I think she's all set now.

Wally's had this cute mermaid blanket, snuggle thingy that just perfectly matched her tee shirt.

Had to go pick up yet another Rx from Wally's, so I checked out the dolls again and they had a lot of stuff on sale. I snagged these two outfits and hat for Minnie. The denim vest actually came with the skirt/tee combo, but I liked it better with the pants/tee set better. And the hat is too cute. She looks warmer now. I may make the skirt over into shorts or perhaps just cut it off shorter. The shoes are some I picked up at Joanne's a while back. Happy accident they match so well.

From the length of the skirt, if you make it short enough, you may be able to get both shorts and another skirt out of it. :D

You are probably right! I could do it as a drop waist with another strip of matching fabric if it's not long enough after I make the shorts.

Joann's shipment came faster than I've ever gotten one before! She's set for winter now, but that didn't stop me from ordering some silver shoes to go with the dress and a pajama set now.

She got her coat just in time...it's dropping below freezing at night now. And now that I look at it, that lace dress may need a little bit of sparkle on it. Must dig out the hotfix tool!

I did indeed pull out the hot fix tool and blinged these up a bit. Too lazy to re-dress her, so here is just the outfit. The pajamas came too, but I'll try those on her at a later date.
