1st BJD, 1st faceup but she is bald and eyeless :(

Hi Everyone! This is Peyton.

She is my first BJD. Her body is the New D.I.M. Doll Girl Happy size body but her head is just a random head they included with the body. I got her as the MiniMee body which was cheaper than getting the official Happy New Girl Body. I think the reason it is cheaper is because the quality is not as good. There are major seamlines you can't sand off because of how deep they are. Even though her head isn't an official sculpt I like how she turned out and wouldnt ever sell her because she is my first. As for her faceup, I'm not entirely happy with her lower lashes so I will be ordering a new finer brush to see if i can get better results.

She only has one eye (14mm) in but they are too small for her so I ordered some 16mm ones as well as some eye putty. I have bunch of dolls on the way including, DikaDoll Rena (open eyes and sleeping head), ResinSoul Wu, Li and Yao. I am considering the new Doll Leaves Boys as well.....augh this is addictive.

I agree. I started out with one and in a span of six months ended up with 5 more with two more Obitsu floating heads coming so I can try doing face-ups (I'm sure they will be asking for bodies sooner rather than later). Not to mention obsessing about dollie clothes, accessories, furniture, more dollies. Ack! It never ends. LOL. I'm glad though, they are all so beautiful... Now if only I can win the lottery.

I know!! um......itching for them to come in already. Um......Yeah Peyton has her wig and I'm making barrettes for her. Working on some underwear too. After painting some faceups on my 1/6 dolls I have so much more experience so I will have to redo her face. Her eyes are still in the mail. I have some 14mm ones but they are too small and she looks really odd with them in. I love taking pics of my dolls though so I have a few of her...with empty sockets hahaha.
