*squeals with joy* My Dollie is finally here. I wasn't expecting him to arrive today. I was awakened with a knock on the door, knowing full well my son was still in school. It was the delivery guy with my doll. I squealed and jumped up and down with joy, bring a smile and a laugh to my downstairs neighbor who was outside. The delivery guy smiled as well. I signed the little e-pad thingie and he left. Now it was time to open my box. I named him Joshua Armstrong. More on his back story and stuffs later.
Here's the box. I can just hear a muffled voice going "Can I get out of this GD box?"
Here's the actual doll box. I nicked it with a knife, but it's not notice able. my Tablet's camera flash decided to say hello too.
Here is is! He's pretty handsome for a headless dollie.
Here he is with my free floating head. It's an Elf, lol. All I need is a body.
Ya know, I wasn't expecting him to be big. I'm glad That way I can just size down infant clothing.
And here is with a cheese cloth toga for decency. Poor dear. I think he likes the toga. In person it looks dingy, but it's clean. I just have to bleach it, then wash it again. [The cheesecloth towel. Not the doll, you goofs. I know better than to put bleach on resin.]
The funny part is he can almost fit into my son's old underwear[Yes I washed them. No way am I putting dirty clothes on a doll.] I just have to drastically down size them.
