---
I found this adorable little girl at a local Goodwill shop. I've been unable to find any sort of company logo on her, just the initials 'CB' carved into her neck and the top of her shoulder blades. Even the clothes she came in appear to be homemade, so I have no way of knowing what brand she is. She's a little shorter than an American Girl doll and is completely made of porcelain (none of the soft-body stuff that seems to be common in these types of dolls) and she has an unbelievable amount of detail for a porcelain doll - she's fully body-blushed and her fingernails and toenails have been painted a pale pink. It leads me to wonder if she was handmade by someone.

She's absolutely lovely, though, isn't she? ;w; She seems to be leaning towards the name Calico, Cali for short <3

She's adorable - and I think Cali/Calico suits her!

Can't help with what company she is though.

Wow, she's lovely! I usually don't like porcelain dolls, but I'm jealous of your find! her eyes are beautiful!

She's one of those mass market porcelains from China that are often sold in gift stores, flea markets and ebay. She's got an unusually nice outfit however.

I'm with quidam - I normally don't go for porcelain dolls (except to mug the little ones for clothing), but this girl is surprisingly pretty!

Her eyes are such a vibrant blue! I've never seen a porcelain doll with eyes that bright.

It's worth hunting through those no-name Chinese porcelains. Sometimes you find a real winner!
