Sold as gum paste, candy, fondant, and chocolate molds (not the Wilton/PME ones). They're like the kind used for candy melts. Look for "doll candy molds" and "body part molds". The tall people are about 8", the child 6". The optional heads are for wrinkled faces.

Cool find! That might be neat to make candy dolls.

The Wilton/PME molds. Tall people are 8" short people 6". These are hard plastic but have openings for pouring.

I bet those push molds would be fun to use with Fimo. Have you ever made anything with them?

I haven't had the chance to use them yet, because of cupcakes, but I've used polymer clay and push molds previously and these should work fine.

It's honestly going to be awhile. Real life is not cooperative with anything related to doll making right now. If we find the candy melts I might try them that way.

Aww. I hope life's not too crazy. But I'm not going to be disappointed if it's quite awhile. My somedays are pretty big, sometimes, if that makes sense.

The real life has been contained to the blog where it belongs, it was a steady build to The Scream.

Big sometimes make sense. Just keep having them. 10+ years of trying to make a ball jointed doll that doesn't get smashed with a hammer is a goal of mine.

Part of me suspects the mold faces would be along the line of Heidi Ott and most 1/12 scale dolls that are out there. I'm looking forward to the sculpting of new ones with them as I do have quite a few dolls I'd like to make.

ahhhhh. *sympathy*

Awww. I didn't actually mean goals. I just meant that "someday" for me has sometimes meant "five years in the future".

Oh neat!
