Posted: Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:52 pmMy Alice's order came in finally and Ena got herself a new coat. The collar is removable and it has one fastener at the top. The sleeve is a little long, but I probably will leave it that way.

She also got two white tees, one of which I plan to embellish and pair of brocade boots that will go with her kimono. However, the booty shorts and jeans just won't go over her battleship hips! I may mess with the shorts, but if the jeans won't fit my Iplehouse boy, I'll have to sell them. A disappointment for sure.

I used three different quilting cotton patterns I got at Joann and bought some lovely yellow silk brocade boots that you can't see very well in the picture, but they are there! She has a plain, sleeveless under kimono I made first to try out the pattern. Didn't take a pic of the back but it's just a big bow.
I used a free pattern I found online but I can't recommend it. I think the fact that I can sew saved my butt because it was full of errors and broken links. I thank them for the use I got, but will not name for those reasons.

Posted: Tue Feb 16, 2021 4:57 pmThe shorts and jeans I had ordered didn't go over my girl's hips, so I decided that I'd try the jeans on some of my other dolls, but the shorts were worth a try to get them to fit her. I had this idea for these sexy lace insets to make room and then I took one of the tees I ordered too and chopped it off to make a crop top. She's all ready for summer now even tho we have another foot of snow.

I finally found her some kitty shoes, from Alice's so it may be fall before they show up.
