Chances the flea market in 34° weather and found some goodies. Two fully articulated girls, two fixer-uppers who are bald (one had chewed fingers, but I have a body that will match her), and the major find, a Hollywood Hair Skipper who has most of her clothes! She's missing her pants and has a broken neck peg, but she was only $5. I can pick up an old Skipper online and mug ger body and still have paid less than what I would have otherwise paid for a Hollywood Hair Skipper secondhand. (Each of the dolls was $5, and the damaged Skipper and two fully articulated girls made the fixer-upper girls were worth the $5 price.)

Oh, and they also all had some form of clothing on. Most of it is mismatched pieces, but I can use them for other things.

I just heard about Hollywood Hair Skipper last night on a video where a lady was sent one in the mail, and now I hear about it again. Funny how that happens.

She was actually on my "I'd like to have that doll someday" list, so finding her semi complete was nice. I think I'm going to get her a replacement body, though, because I don't have the supplies to fix her damaged neck right now.

Here's some pictures of poor, decapitated Skipper and her damaged neck.

Her hair has likely been in that braid for most of her existence, so it has stayed protected. I only saw a couple of damaged strands, and it's cleaned/brushed out beautifully. I'll get some pictures once she's dry.

Update: I have ordered Skipper some replacement pants, meaning she is only missing her hair bow and comb now.

Very much so. I can't wait to have her all fixed up so she can go on the shelf.

Anyway. Congrats!

I don't care if I have to eat beans and rice for a week! I have no regrets about buying her! Gorgeous details, great face. She looks fine on my warrior women shelf which I need to expand. Shipping was fast for a change too.
