Well, I finished Mega Gardevoir... and had to move her to the basement because she won't fit in my room. :U The big "reveal" post is gonna have to wait until she can be properly set up down there (Gardevoir is currently hanging out of a jumbo vacuum bag on the couch), and who knows when that'll happen.

As bummed as I am that Gardevoir can't stay up here, though, I did learn a lot about machine-sewing, and I still look forward to making the McCall's Pikachu twins. And I've got a Starmie lined up (Plushify asks if you want to use a model's UV maps for the pattern before you start, and while that normally gets you an unworkable mess, Starmie's only needed a little editing). Not to scale, obviously, or I'll be having this problem again. :U

I'm back from the anime convention, and it's back on Equestria Girls Summer! This week, I'm working on Applejack. She needs a head swap, body mod, and a new shirt. I might paint the molded on details on her hat too.

I had a headache last night that made me so sick I wanted to die, so my sister thinks it was a migraine. But I feel better now so I'm back on Equestria Girls dolls customizing. I cleaned off the paint on Applejack and Fluttershy's arms that's supposed to look like arm guards for archery (they were on the wrong side lol). the acetone made their arms a little squishy though, so they're set aside to dry and reharden.

I also have a TON of sketches to ink, so I'm gonna try to ink 3 of them after lunch.

Hand-embroidering my McCall's Pikachu's face. Which may be a bad idea, but I'd rather he have janky-ass stitching around his eyes and electrical sacs than none at all.

Also, I've got a plan to salvage Gardevoir, but it'll have to wait until I've cut all the pieces for Shirochu (as I'm calling her), as it involves remaking her head at a reduced size and I'll need to make sure I've got enough white fabric.

EDIT: Welp, now I've gotta redo Pikachu's face entirely, because it came out too squished and lopsided to salvage. That's what I get for assuming those dots on the pattern were where the eyes went, I guess. (Though while I'm at it, I'm also gonna go ahead and do Shirochu's face to hopefully keep things consistent.)
